Well Known DJ's Missing From inVd List!

Amazingly inVd is missing some well known DJ's in Second Life! They have crossed paths with inVd and Ammon Pera in the not so distant past. We won't name these DJ's as I am sure they won't want to be associated with inVd and their drama! But I find it very funny that these DJ's had apparently been submitted to inVd and none of them ever made it on the list! How ironic that Ammon Pera and Jason Feingold would not mention these DJ's!

We also have to laugh about one who DID make the list! If you had the displeasure of ever hearing Jason Feingold, you'd agree that he does not belong on that list!! Hahaha!

Here is a copy of their original post, do you see anyone missing? Let us know and reply!!!

Favorite DJ's as listed by the readers of inVdaily:

Music is one of the many things what brings us together in SL. We grind to wild rhythm on the dance floor or sway to melodies pulling each other close. Whatever the genre, SL's clubs are one of the cornerstones of our social fabric. The magicians who weave that spell on us nightly are the DJ's whose talents make the clubs we love come alive. We asked who makes your feet move and were happy to hear from so many of you. We compiled all the comments into the ultimate DJ list in SL. We hope that if you are looking for a DJ for your club or event, you take a second to choose one of the amazing entertainers to help you make memorable moments for your guests. If you are just looking for a great time and a place to dance and listen to your favorite tunes, reach out to any of these phenomenal artists to find out when and where they are playing next. There's no excuse to stay home alone when you can be out meeting new people and enjoying old friends with one of SL's ultimate DJ's.

  1. No list would be complete without Syriana Paine. She has a great selection of music and knows how to work a crowd.

One of the friendliest DJs I have come across (in chat, on air and in group conferences) is Kromus Korobase. Quality talent, but also willing to inject extra fun into a set and play something random to fit what is going on in chat.

A new guy I have heard recently is Eduardo Sciavo. He speaks English, but he's Brazilian, so can DJ in fluent Portuguese (strangely enough the whole world isn't English speaking and we need more DJs who can meet those needs)

  2. I dont mean to be OVERLY sarcastic, but I am sure Syriana, Gregster, Rocco, and other DJ's who have managed to cross malicous psychopath Ammon and former DJ Jason's paths will manage to live after this HUGE blow to their ego's!

Jason honey, you have not DJ'd anywhere since October! And word has it that Fauxy Shepherd will not go forward with your Saturday gig at Hot and Hung since he realizes what a liability you are! You cheapen your own list by leaving your name on this list!

  3. There are sooo many great, talented, DJs in SL.. People who's music and company I enjoy so much.

JUST because someone is on (or off) Ammon & Jason's list won't be making DJ decisions for me. The music and the happiness of the crowd always comes first.

Gregster my friend, you are definitely on my list, as is Syriana. You both capture the energy of the crowd and reflect it back in a way that makes people feel good. That is the essence of being a DJ in SL.

(I'm not sure if I've heard Rocco, Kromus, and Eduardo.. will definitely have to investigate.. plus I have a half dozen DJs not on Jason's list that I have on mine.)

Anyway.. Just wanted to share my love.

  4. Let's for the hell of it divide the DJ World into three groups of DJ's

1 Those that Ammon Pera and former DJ Jason Feingold hate. Besides Syriana, Gregster, Rocco, Willicous, and others who were deliberately left off the list, we would have to include DJ Aeschylus Shepherd who was subject to on of the worst character assassination rantings around Christmas- who ended up in the list somehow.

    2. Those who Ammon and Jason seem to love. Wes Spengler, Ars Norsmead, and some others are very good people. We like them too, and the are intelligent enough not to take sides. However, getting if I were them, I would not want to see glowing references to myself in InV, and steer clear of posing any opinion at all.

I am surprised a bit that Queen Edman made the list. Although he won the 2008 new DJ contest that that Jason put together, he has fallen out with his former partner Island Projects (aka the arts Colt Parx), owner of Animation Rising and master of Fauxy Shepherd from Hot and Hung. I know that Jason was trying to get InV to come down on Island Projects for treating Queen so poorly, but this was nipped in the bud by Ammon "money talks" Pera.

    3. People in the middle, who are on this list, not really noted by Ammon and fomer DJ Jason Feingold, but probably was as little to do with the InV controversy as possible.

The point I am trying to make is please don't hold being on this list against anyone except the one person who is no longer a DJ- Jason Feingold. And look at it as the ass kissing that it surely is.

Also, they build readership when they mention peoples names. Words every time.
