"Friends are hoping the hiatus of Jordyn Carnell straightens and serves as a reality check thats he's not the center of sl & and as everyone is ending the drama he continues.
"A few of Carnell's close friends said he needs a break. Friends also told inVd when he resumes "they hope he comes back with a smile on his face and without a chip on his shoulder."

JC - one of the nicest guys I know in SL.
ReplyDeleteHis legendary conferences are about networking and getting venues to work together so everyone knows all the good places to go out.
He also runs parties every month, using a different venue and different DJ (not associated with that venue) so people can see the variety of talent and locations out there.
The guy puts in a lot of effort in order to give to other people, for no reason other than because he can.

ReplyDeleteStrengthening the community, helping the clubs and DJ's see themselves as part of something larger than competitors, helping people that need help, has been the loop that keeps me out of trouble (for the most part).
Interestingly enough, I've also tried to help the very people that seem to have added me to their enemies list. I guess that's how it works.
I want to point out though, Ammon and Jason are just avatars representing people. No one knows what is going on in their lives and why they have behaved like they have. I can't say they have good reasons, or that their behavior is justified. But, i think it's important to remember it's usually desperate people that do desperate things. So try to be just a little bit sympathetic toward the people, even while we are fully justified in criticizing the behavior.

of all the people I have met in my travels in SL, JC is one of the nicest, kindest, most approachable people out there. And for anyone to try to paint him as anything but that would be laughable, were it not so pitiful.

ReplyDelete1. He manages to stay friends with people who don't necessarily like each other, lets say partners who have split ways. And he tells former friends, even at the risk of pissing them off, what they are failing to see in a situation. This is a hard thing to do. And i respect him enormously for it.
2. He is a loyal friend. He won't walk away from you when the going gets down. I know.
3. He always keeps confidences. BTW if he ever decided to publish a tell-all lots of people would have to run for cover. But JC would NEVER do this He has too much integrity.
4. He apologizes (sometimes too much) if he does something wrong.
5. Hes a massive flirt and a bit of a tease but I don't know if this should be a positive. But in his case it is, cause it cracks me up when he acts this way.
